Marwen Abouda prefers to work with a combination of performing arts, digital arts and visual arts. This allows him to explore the many facets of interdisciplinarity in different projects, whether alone, in a team, with audience participation or interactively. In doing so, he explores new possibilities of expression and new perspectives.

 

He focuses on three main areas:

• Narrative: this concerns the design of structures, frameworks and matrices.

• Space: this concerns both sound and visual space, including time, environment, history and identity.

• The body: the body functions as a carrier of life, emotion, meaning and sensitivity.The body is synonymous with movement, action and psychomotricity.

 

His work is based on relationships of dialogue and performance. He aspires to a multi-sensory experience that lies between dramaturgy and performance. His poetic approach is informed by plasticity and constantly poses interdisciplinary questions that open up new creative possibilities.
