Phosphenes (2021)
Format: Live Act, music and video decoration.
Texts : Nejib Sourour - Slah Daoudi
Venue: Tunis, Soussa
In his multidisciplinary performance concert PHOSPHENES, Marwen Abouda invites us to stop for a moment and plunge with him into a world of sounds and images. Poetic recitations and songs in ancient Arabic intertwine, carried by a sound carpet of electronic music over which the sounds of the bendir dance, all surrounded by a whimsical and colourful light show. Luminous geometries, stories, rhythms, melodies and songs merge into a meditative trance experience.
Sonic Totem (2019)
Location: Paris/ Tunis, Presbytère Sainte-Croix (Rue Jemâa Zitouna)
This sculpture, which acts as a contemporary digital totem pole, represents a new interpretation and questions the fundamental distinction between man and machine and the role of art objects as magical objects. When the public and artists interact with this sculpture, unique stories and hybrid identities are created. As part of "Dream City", Floy Krouchi has invited collaborators to work creatively together with this totem pole. The project is inspired by her radio plays and combines music, visual art, performance and text. The artists involved are Marwen Abouda, Badiaa Bouhrizi, AKA Neysatu, Ursula Scherrer, Devin Brahja Waldman, Nejma Zghidi and Selma Zghidi.
Symbiotic (2019)
Symbiotic is a 40-minute site-specific installation combining digital art, space and performance to create a poetic sensory experience. In this sound and visual show, based on an urban mural by Wisem EL-ABED, Symbiotic takes spectators on a journey of images and sounds. The result is moments of meditation and reflection that highlight the link between the character, the performer (represented by Eliane Beaufils) and the witness, as well as and around the fusion of individual and community identity.

Two spaces in dialogue that place the body and movement at the center of the dialogue with the objects that occupy them.
The dancers seize the possibilities that these places offer. They construct, occupy, invent identities and invest in different states and modes of relationship between notions of group and individuality. Through this dialogue, the piece questions the lines of tension that exist in our society. Between dance, performance and digital art, the piece moves back and forth between the identified, popular and noble spaces, turning the aesthetic and sonic codes of the Mezoued culture upside down, as if to introduce this cultural heritage into today. We question this culture through the prism of the compartmentalization it experiences and the relationships it establishes between people.
